El Oro Parakeet, Pyrrhura orcesi, is a parakeet of south-west Ecuador in the Psittacidae family. It was described by Ridgely and Robbins in 1988 and is confined to the west slope of the Ecuadorian Andes in Azuay and El Oro provinces. Its breeding range is in humid subtropical and tropical forest, mainly between 600 and 1,300 m, with records from 300 m to 1,800 m. It is a monotypic species. Its closest known relative is the maroon-tailed parakeet.
