Forest Buzzard

This bird of prey is known for its broad wings, short tail, and robust build. It primarily feeds on small mammals, birds, and reptiles, often hunting from a perch or soaring in open areas. The Forest Buzzard is recognized by its dark brown plumage, streaked underparts, and distinctive white tail with a broad black band. This species is generally solitary and territorial, nesting in trees and constructing large stick nests. While not currently considered globally threatened, habitat loss and degradation pose potential risks to its populations.
