Frilled Monarch Arses telescopthalmus is a passerine in the monarch family, Monarchidae. It occurs in the New Guinea region of Australasia and on Boigu in the Torres Strait Islands, north-eastern Queensland, far north-eastern Australia. It belongs to the order Passeriformes and was described by Lesson and Garnot in 1827.
