About this tour

This seven-day, six-night 4x4 journey links Cairns with remote Cape York birding areas. Travelling via Maryfarms, Artemis Station, Musgrave, Lakefield and Coen, the route reaches Lockhart River and Iron Range before visiting Chilli Beach and Portland Roads.

A maximum of three guests allows a small-group search through Musgrave country, Iron Range rainforest and northern Lakefield National Park. Air-conditioned accommodation, most meals, guiding and 4x4 transport are included. The operator’s two advertised 2026 departures were fully booked; later availability is therefore handled on request.
