Green-and-white Hummingbird, Elliotomyia viridicauda, is a hummingbird of the Peruvian Andes in south-central Peru, where it breeds on the east slope from Huánuco south to Cuzco, including Machu Picchu. It is found in edges and clearings of mature subtropical forest, as well as in secondary forest, between 1,000 and 2,500 m. It is a resident bird with some local movement. The species is monotypic and has a straight bill with a blackish upper mandible and a reddish lower mandible tipped dark.
