Green-backed Sparrow

The Green-backed Sparrow, also known as the Green-backed Brush Finch, is a small bird found in the highlands of Central and South America. Green-backed Sparrows forage on the ground for insects and seeds, and they are often observed in pairs or small groups. While not currently classified by the IUCN, their population may be affected by habitat loss and fragmentation.
