Green Warbler

Phylloscopus subviridis

The Green Warbler (Phylloscopus subviridis) is a small, insectivorous bird found in parts of Asia. It is known for its bright green plumage and distinctive song. This warbler is often found in dense vegetation, where it forages for insects and spiders. During the breeding season, it builds its cup-shaped nest in shrubs or low trees. The Green Warbler is known for its migratory behavior, traveling long distances between its breeding and wintering grounds. Despite facing threats from habitat loss and climate change, the population status of this species is currently not well-documented.
