Phylloscopus trochiloides
The Greenish Warbler is a small, insectivorous bird found in the woodlands and forests of Asia and Europe. It has a plain olive-green plumage with a pale underside and a distinct white eye-ring. This warbler is known for its melodious and repetitive song, often heard during the breeding season. It forages actively in the foliage, gleaning insects from leaves and branches. The Greenish Warbler migrates over long distances, wintering in the Indian subcontinent and Southeast Asia. It is a common species with stable populations and is not currently considered at risk.
