Greenish Warbler Phylloscopus trochiloides is a leaf warbler that breeds in the western and central Palearctic and spends the nonbreeding season in the Oriental Region. It is a member of the family Phylloscopidae. The species is a long-distance migrant, with winter quarters in India. It also turns up outside its usual range in spring and early autumn, including Western Europe and Great Britain. In some years many wanderers reach Central Europe, and a few pairs have even settled to breed in Germany.
