Grenada Flycatcher

Grenada Flycatcher, Myiarchus nugator, is a resident bird of the Lesser Antilles, occurring on Grenada, St Vincent and several of the smaller islands between them. It belongs to the tyrant flycatcher family and was first described by Riley in 1904. It is a flycatcher of wooded and scrubby places, and also uses open ground near settlements. It avoids bare rocky areas with little vegetation. The species is monotypic and has a breeding range in the Lesser Antilles.
