Grey Kestrel

Grey Kestrel, Falco ardosiaceus, is a bird of prey in the Falconidae family that breeds across Africa from Senegal and Gambia east to Ethiopia and south to Tanzania, with its range also reaching Angola and Namibia. It lives in savannas, open woodland and forest clearings, and is especially associated with palm trees near water. It is a stocky kestrel with a large, flat-topped head and short wings. Adults are dark grey overall, with yellow feet and cere, and bare yellow skin around the eye.
