Grey Noddy, Anous albivitta, is a seabird of the Pacific Ocean in the subtropical South Pacific, breeding from Lord Howe and Norfolk islands and the Kermadec Islands to se Polynesia and islands far west of northern Chile. It is a member of the gull, tern and skimmer family. First described by Bonaparte in 1856, it was once treated as a pale form of the blue noddy, but is now accepted as a separate species. Its breeding sites are on rocky islands, with nests placed on sheltered rock, under boulders or among vegetation.
