Clibanornis rectirostris (Wied-Neuwied, M, 1831)

Henna-capped Foliage-gleaner, Clibanornis rectirostris, is a passerine of the Furnariidae that breeds in south-central Brazil and eastern Paraguay. It lives in gallery forest and deciduous woodland, including areas from 200 to 1,000 m above sea level. A fairly large furnariid, it has a long, nearly straight bill and the sexes look alike. Adults show a chestnut head, a paler reddish chestnut collar, a rich ochraceous brown back and rump, chestnut uppertail coverts, dark rufous wings and a chestnut tail. The throat is pale rufous, deepening below, with darker flanks and reddish-rufous undertail coverts.
