Jocotoco Antpitta, Grallaria ridgelyi, is a bird of southern Ecuador and northern Peru in the antpitta family. It was first described in 1999 by Krabbe, Agro, Rice, Jacome, Navarrete and Sornoza-Molina. The species is known from a very small number of sites in steep, wet forest on mossy slopes, with Chusquea bamboo and silvery-leaved Cecropia trees. It is the largest member of its family, and adults show a black crown, a shaggy white face patch, a snowy throat and a reddish brown tail.
