Kelp Goose, Chloephaga hybrida, is a duck in the family Anatidae and order Anseriformes. It breeds in southern Chile, southern Argentina and the Falkland Islands. The species occurs on coastal stretches of southern Chile and Argentina, including Tierra del Fuego, while the Falkland population is confined to those islands. Outside the breeding season it uses rocky shores and shingle beaches with kelp beds offshore, and it nests by coastal freshwater lakes. Two subspecies are recognised, with the Falkland form restricted to the islands.
