Large-billed Reed Warbler, Acrocephalus orinus, is a passerine in the reed warbler family, breeding in north-east Afghanistan and wintering in northern India and south-east Thailand. It was described by Oberholser in 1905. Once known from very few records, it gained attention after a bird was identified in Thailand in 2006 from feather DNA and then released. A breeding area was later located in Afghanistan in 2009, and the species has also been recorded in Bangladesh.
