The Least Flycatcher is a small, insect-eating bird found in North America. It has a grayish-olive upper body, a white eye ring, and a pale yellow wash on its belly. This bird is known for its distinctive call, a sharp 'che-bec' or 'che-bek.' It prefers open woodlands, forest edges, and riparian areas for nesting and foraging. The Least Flycatcher is a migratory bird, spending winters in Central America and the Caribbean. Its conservation status is of Least Concern according to the IUCN, as it has a large population and a wide distribution range.
