About this tour
Walk the trails of Cosmopolitan Park along the South Saskatchewan River with a local guide. Wooded riverbank and open-water habitat can support songbirds, ducks, geese, pelicans and other seasonal visitors, with the route adjusted to current activity.
The outing is suitable for novice and experienced birdwatchers. Most of the route follows level paths, with gentle slopes or steps on some inclines; a loaner pair of binoculars may be available when requested in advance.
Private two-hour walks are offered on most dates from May through September for parties of up to four. The fee covers guiding only, while participants arrange their own meals and transportation.
