Meyer's Parrot

Meyer's Parrot (Poicephalus meyeri) is a small to medium-sized parrot native to the savannas and open woodlands of central and southern Africa. These intelligent and social birds are known for their playful and affectionate nature, making them popular as pets. They have a distinctive green body with a yellow-orange belly and a bright orange patch on the forehead. Meyer's Parrots are highly vocal and have a wide range of calls and whistles. They primarily feed on seeds, fruits, and nuts, and are often seen in small flocks. Their conservation status is currently listed as Least Concern by the IUCN.
