Moustached Tinkerbird, Pogoniulus leucomystax, is a bird of Africa, breeding from eastern Uganda and western Kenya south to southern Malawi. It belongs to the Piciformes order and the Lybiidae family. It was described by Sharpe in 1892. The species lives in high-altitude forests in central Africa. It is mostly greenish and shows little difference between the sexes. It feeds on berries and insects. Older literature also used the name Viridibucco leucomystax for it.
