Moustached Wren, Pheugopedius genibarbis, is a bird of Amazonia in South America, occurring in Bolivia, Brazil and Peru. It belongs to the wren family, Troglodytidae, and was described by Swainson in 1838. It is a forest-edge species, including river margins, and it especially uses dense Bambusa stands. Its range covers the central and southern Amazon Basin, with subspecies recorded from eastern Brazil, the upper Amazon drainage, central Brazil and northern Santa Cruz Department in eastern Bolivia.
