Neergaard's Sunbird, Cinnyris neergaardi, is a passerine in the Nectariniidae family that breeds in south-eastern Africa, from south-east Mozambique to Swaziland and eastern South Africa. It is tied to the coastal belt and is found in dry woodland on sandy ground, as well as coastal scrub and dry forest close to the sea. The species has a restricted range and a moderately small population. It was described by Grant in 1908 and is named for Paul Neergaard, a Danish recruiting officer who worked in southern Mozambique.
