Neumann's Warbler

Hemitesia neumanni (Rothschild, 1908)

Neumann's Warbler, Hemitesia neumanni, is a passerine of the Cettiidae family that lives in eastern Democratic Republic of the Congo, south-west Uganda, western Rwanda and western Burundi. It was first described in 1908. In this part of Africa it is the only member of its family. It occurs in thick growth within montane forest, especially where streams run through the woodland. It is also known as Neumann's short-tailed warbler. Its recorded range is limited to these areas.
