Nonggang Babbler, Stachyris nonggangensis, is a babbler of the Oriental Region, breeding in south-west China and northern Vietnam. It was described in 2008 by Zhou F and Jiang A. It is closely similar to the sooty babbler, but can be told from it by its pale iris, white crescent behind the ear, white throat patch marked with black spots, and black bill. It lives in karst seasonal rainforest, including areas altered by selective cutting and dominated by Burretiodendron hsienmu. Its known range is centred on Nonggang Natural Reserve in Guangxi.
