Dicaeum trigonostigma (Scopoli, 1786)

Orange-bellied Flowerpecker, Dicaeum trigonostigma, is a bird of the Oriental Region, with a breeding range from Bangladesh to Borneo and the Philippines. It belongs to the family Dicaeidae and was described by Scopoli in 1786. The male is marked by slaty-blue upperparts with a large orange triangle on the mantle, a short, slightly downcurved bill, and underparts that shift from greyish blue on the throat and upper breast to orange and then yellow below. The female is mostly drab olive brown, with a pale orange rump and yellow belly.
