About this tour
Discover the rich birdlife and untouched rainforest of Sri Phang-Nga National Park, one of southern Thailand’s most important and rewarding birding destinations. This full-day bird watching tour takes you into a protected lowland rainforest known for its dense vegetation, flowing streams, waterfalls, and exceptional biodiversity.
The day starts early to take advantage of peak bird activity. Accompanied by an experienced bird guide, you will explore forest trails, clearings, and riverine habitats while listening for calls and observing birds in their natural environment. Sri Phang-Nga is home to a wide range of resident and migratory species, making it an excellent location for spotting hornbills, broadbills, barbets, kingfishers, flycatchers, and many other tropical forest birds.
The tour is designed at a relaxed pace, allowing time for careful observation, photography, and learning about bird behavior, habitats, and conservation. Breaks are included for refreshments and lunch, giving you time to enjoy the peaceful forest surroundings and recharge before continuing birding in the afternoon.
In addition to birds, the park often offers sightings of butterflies, reptiles, and other wildlife, along with impressive rainforest scenery. This tour is suitable for both dedicated birdwatchers and nature enthusiasts who want an immersive experience in one of Thailand’s finest natural areas.
