Ochraceous Bulbul

The Ochraceous Bulbul (Sasia ochracea) is a small passerine bird found in Southeast Asia. It has a distinctive ochre-colored plumage with a pale belly and a dark brown crest. This species is known for its melodious and varied songs, often heard in the dense undergrowth of tropical forests. Ochraceous Bulbuls primarily feed on fruits, insects, and small invertebrates. They are often observed in pairs or small groups, foraging and vocalizing in the lower canopy. This species plays a vital role in seed dispersal and maintaining the ecological balance of its habitat.
