Ochraceous Bulbul, Alophoixus ochraceus, is a bulbul of the Oriental Region, breeding from south-east Asia to Sumatra. It belongs to the family Pycnonotidae and was described by Moore in 1854. It is associated with broad-leaved evergreen forest and rainforest, where it is usually found in the mid-storey. Its recorded range includes southern Myanmar, south-western Thailand, eastern Thailand, south-western Cambodia, southern Vietnam, the Malay Peninsula and western Sumatra. It is also known as the brown white-throated bulbul and the ochraceous bearded-bulbul.
