Pale-billed Antpitta, Grallaria carrikeri, is a bird of the Peruvian Andes in South America, where it lives on the east slope from central Amazonas south to at least southeastern La Libertad. It is a member of the Grallariidae and was described by Schulenberg & Williams, MD, in 1982. This antpitta is found in humid montane forest understorey with a broken canopy, abundant epiphytes and Chusquea bamboo, between 2,350 and 2,900 m. It is resident throughout its range and is uncommon. The species is monotypic and forms a superspecies with the chestnut-naped antpitta.
