Pemba Sunbird, Cinnyris pembae, is a passerine bird of the sunbird family that breeds on Pemba Island in the Indian Ocean off Tanzania. First described by Reichenow in 1905, it is the only purple-banded sunbird on the island and is set apart from close relatives by its smaller size. It has also been treated as a subspecies of the purple-banded sunbird, and sometimes as the same species as the violet-breasted sunbird from mainland Kenya. It occurs in a wide range of habitats on Pemba Island.
