Peruvian Seaside Cinclodes, Cinclodes taczanowskii, is a passerine in the Furnariidae family found in central and southern Peru. It was described by Berlepsch & Stolzmann in 1892. This bird is confined to the Peruvian coast and nearby offshore islands, where it lives in the intertidal zone and usually keeps to rocks, though it may also use adjoining sandy ground. It is a resident throughout its range and remains close to the water’s edge. It is a large cinclodes with a straight bill, and the sexes look alike.
