They are often found in forested areas, including both primary and secondary forests, as well as mangroves and wooded urban areas. The Pink-necked Green Pigeon is known for its soft, melodious cooing calls, which are often heard during the breeding season. Despite facing habitat loss and hunting pressures, this species is currently classified as Least Concern by the IUCN.
