It inhabits open woodlands, savannas, and scrublands, where it can be observed flitting between branches and foliage in search of prey. The Pririt Batis is known for its melodious and varied song, which it uses to communicate with its mate and defend its territory. Despite facing threats from habitat loss and fragmentation, the species is currently of Least Concern according to the IUCN Red List.
