Radde's Warbler

Phylloscopus schwarzi

Radde's Warbler (Phylloscopus schwarzi) is a small passerine bird found in the Palearctic region. It has olive-green upperparts, a pale yellowish-white belly, and a distinct white supercilium. This species is known for its distinctive song, a high-pitched trill that is often heard in its dense forest habitats. Radde's Warbler is a migratory bird, breeding in the taiga and wintering in Southeast Asia. It forages for insects and spiders in the dense undergrowth of coniferous and mixed forests. Despite being relatively common in its range, its breeding and wintering grounds are threatened by habitat loss and degradation.
