Red-faced Liocichla, Liocichla phoenicea, is a passerine of the Leiothrichidae family found in Nepal, north-east India and adjacent southern China. It is a bird of the Oriental Region, associated with moist montane forest. In its range it uses dense undergrowth in tropical broad-leaf woodland. It is also seen moving in pairs, or in flocks that may include other species. The species was described by Gould in 1837.
