Red-necked Falcon

The Red-necked Falcon is a small bird of prey found in parts of Africa and Asia. It has a distinctive red neck and grey upperparts, with a white face and underparts. This falcon is known for its agile flight and is often seen hunting small birds and insects in open grasslands, savannas, and agricultural areas. It nests in tree hollows or old nests of other birds, and is known for its loud, chattering calls. The Red-necked Falcon is not considered globally threatened and is generally widespread within its range.
