Rosy Minivet

The Rosy Minivet is a small passerine bird found in South and Southeast Asia. It is known for its striking appearance, with the male sporting bright pink plumage on its underparts and a contrasting black upperparts. The female has a more subdued grayish-olive plumage. These birds are often found in open forests, wooded areas, and gardens, where they forage for insects and berries. They are known for their melodious calls and acrobatic flight patterns. The Rosy Minivet is not considered globally threatened and is relatively common throughout its range.
