Rufous-bellied rock-thrush

The Rufous-bellied rock-thrush is a small-sized bird found in the Indian subcontinent and Southeast Asia. The male has a striking blue-grey head and back, with a rufous belly and chestnut tail. The female is brownish with a rufous belly. They are commonly found in rocky hillsides, open forests, and scrublands. Rufous-bellied rock-thrushes are known for their melodious and varied songs. They primarily feed on insects and are often seen perched on rocks or low branches. The conservation status of the Rufous-bellied rock-thrush is currently listed as Least Concern by the IUCN.
