Rusty-bellied Brushfinch, Atlapetes nationi, is a passerine bird of the New World sparrows found in Peru in South America. It lives in the western Andes of central to southern Peru, with the nominate form confined to Lima Department and A. n. brunneiceps ranging from southern Lima to Arequipa Department. It is a resident species. Its habitat is dry montane scrub and woodland patches between 2,100 and 4,000 m. The species was first described in 1881, and two subspecies are recognised.
