Santa Marta Antpitta, Grallaria bangsi, is a passerine of the Grallariidae family that breeds in northern Colombia. It is confined to the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta in Magdalena Department, where it lives on the forest floor and in the understorey of humid cloudforest and mature secondary forest. It also turns up in clearings and beside roads. The sexes look alike, with dark olive-brown upperparts, a deep ochre throat, and whitish underparts marked by broad dusky streaking. It is mostly terrestrial and is known to visit feeding stations. Its breeding period runs from September to January.
