About this tour

Travel from the Caribbean coast into the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta, linking wetlands, dry forest, foothill feeders and high-elevation cloud forest. The route includes Isla Salamanca, Minca and the Faunal reserve, El Dorado and San Lorenzo, Taironaka and the Los Flamencos sanctuary.

Begin in Caribbean wetlands and mangroves before travelling into the Sierra Nevada foothills at Minca.

Day 2
Minca foothills and Faunal reserve
