Say's Phoebe, Sayornis saya, is a tyrant flycatcher that breeds across North America and Middle America from Alaska to southern Mexico. It is a bird of dry, open country, including arid landscapes, farmland, savanna and open woodland, and it is often found near water. The species was described by Bonaparte in 1825 and was named in honour of Thomas Say. It is a passerine with a barrel-shaped body and a squared head, and the tail is long.
