Scarlet-headed Flowerpecker, Dicaeum trochileum, is a passerine of the Dicaeidae family found in the Greater Sundas of Indonesia. It is recorded from a few islands in the archipelago, especially Java and Bali, with reports also from Lombok, Sumatra and south-eastern Borneo. It lives in open woodland, gardens and mangroves, and has also been noted on the coast and in lowland areas. The male is marked by red to orange upperparts, while the female is greyer and browner above with an orange to red rump.
