Larvivora cyane (Pallas, 1776)
Siberian Blue Robin, Larvivora cyane, breeds in the eastern Palearctic and moves to south-east Asia outside the breeding season. It is a passerine in the Muscicapidae, the chat and Old World flycatcher family. The species was described by Pallas in 1776. It was once placed in Luscinia, but is now treated in Larvivora. Its breeding range extends across eastern Siberia and nearby parts of Asia, and it is also recorded as a very rare vagrant in Europe and as far east as Pakistan.
