Ficedula tricolor

The Siberian blue robin (Ficedula tricolor) is a small migratory bird found in eastern Asia. It is known for its striking blue plumage on the upperparts and a white belly. The male has a distinctive blue crown and throat, while the female is more subdued in color. These birds prefer dense, moist deciduous and mixed forests with thick undergrowth, where they forage for insects and small invertebrates. During the breeding season, they are often found in the understory of these forests.
