Slaty-blue Flycatcher, Ficedula tricolor, is a bird of the Oriental Region, breeding from the Himalayas to Thailand. It belongs to the family Muscicapidae. It is associated with subtropical or tropical moist montane forests. Its range also includes the Himalayas, central China, Yunnan and northern Indochina. A single record was made at Sigiriya in Sri Lanka in February 1993.
