Snow-capped Manakin, Lepidothrix nattereri, is a passerine of the Pipridae family in south-central Amazonia, breeding in Bolivia and Brazil. It lives mainly in humid lowland terra firme forest and is recorded from the central Amazon Basin south of the Amazon River, with the nominate form farther north and L. n. gracilis extending south and east into northeastern Bolivia. The species is sexually dimorphic, and the female is larger than the male. Adult males of the nominate race show a white crown and upper nape, while females of that race have a blue crown and nape.
