Streak-chested Antpitta, Hylopezus perspicillatus, is a passerine of the antpitta family found from eastern Honduras through Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Panama, Colombia and into north-west Ecuador. It lives in lowland evergreen forest in tropical and lower subtropical areas, and is a year-round resident. The species is marked by a yellow patch on the lores and a broad yellow eye-ring, with black streaking across the breast and along the sides and flanks. It was first described in 1861 and later placed in Hylopezus.
