The Usambara Hyliota is a small, insectivorous bird found in the evergreen forests of the East Usambara Mountains in Tanzania. It has a distinctive white eyebrow and a combination of blue-grey upperparts and yellow underparts. This species is known for its active foraging behavior, often seen hopping and flitting through the dense foliage in search of insects. It builds cup-shaped nests in the undergrowth and lays 2-3 eggs. The Usambara Hyliota is known for its melodious, high-pitched song that resonates through the forest canopy.
