Western Rockhopper Penguin Eudyptes chrysocome is a penguin in the family Spheniscidae and the order Sphenisciformes. It breeds in South America, on islands of southern Chile including Cape Horn, and in the Falkland Islands. Outside the breeding season it occurs to coastal north-central Argentina. It was described by J. R. Forster in 1781.
