White-headed Bulbul, Hypsipetes thompsoni, occurs in Myanmar and north-west Thailand. It is a passerine in the bulbul family, Pycnonotidae, and was described by Bingham in 1900. It breeds in the Oriental Region. The species was once treated in the monotypic genus Cerasophila, but is now placed in Hypsipetes. It is also known as Bingham’s bulbul and brown-vented bulbul.
