Wrenthrush, Zeledonia coronata, is a passerine of the montane forests of Costa Rica and Panama. It is the only species in Zeledoniidae and was described by Ridgway in 1889. This bird is confined to wet evergreen and elfin forest in the Talamancan highlands, especially where thick growth lines streams and bamboo is present. It is a small, short-tailed bird with a stout shape and a fine bill, and the adults show a yellow-orange crown patch edged in black. The sexes look the same, while young birds lack the crown patch.
